I use "The Army Painter's" and then "Abandon Black" from "Citadel" paints

Well, if you want the short answer, it is that I just dry brushed it. Long answer: I spray coated the miniature with white, then I completely base coated him in a dark blue then steadily increased the brightness of the color and dry, brushed it on layer by layer until I got the desired effect. I also added in some red Ish dry, brushing very lightly onto certain parts of him to give it like depth, and then I added the markings by taping the miniature and painting in between the tape, which I would suggest that you’d be very careful if you do because the tape doesn’t stick super well, and then I dry brush more white on top of it. Really it’s just one giant dry brushed masterpiece! Jk, it’s not a masterpiece! lol

I'm a big fan of purple color schemes, but since I have the Empire you really don't have many chances of purpizing minis. Like imagine: a purple Darth Vader?????.... That actually might look cool... Thanks for the idea! LOL

Ok, their story goes like this. Rebels episode 12-13: In the year 2 BBY the crew of the Ghost is sent to find Saw and his group who have gone missing. The Emperor knowing of Saw's whereabouts reroutes an elite unit of scout troopers from their mission on Kashyyyk where they had modified their armor by painting it to blend with the local flora, to Geonosis to make sure that the Partisan group was killed by Klick-Klak. They having no time to restyle their armor content themselves with dirtying it up with sand, some a lil more than others. During the Ghost crews confrontation with Klick-Klak they are almost discovered, having strict orders to remain in hiding lest unwanted attention be drawn to Geonosis they make a hasty retreat, by the time they ventured out from their concealment their quarry had escaped. Rather then face the inevitable humiliation and execution upon return, they each chose to commit suicide. "long live the Empire!...Pewpew"....

Maybe it's just the strong lighting, but it looks like your didn't shade. Putting some black/dark blue shade in the recesses of the skin would be worth considering.

The detail of the blood dripping from the dewback’s mouth is small, but great!

I like the detail on the dewback but i think it needs just a little break of the blue. maybe a gradient or something

yeah Fallenangel700 it's mainly bad lighting, will update it.

-socksa- I did a shade and that's what covered the gradient, if you look at the end of the tail there's a faint line of light/dark blue

Yes! but unfortunately I don't have any basing material yet, but when I acquire it that will defiantly be something I will do!

Go to a craft store like Michael's if you need hobby grass, you can get a little bag of it for $4. Then, go to a pet store like Petsmart. They have coconut fiber substrates for tortoises and reptiles for $5, not too much of it, but it works for minis. I had a tortoise (left him at home when I moved out) and we used some of that for his enclosure so I got some while I was over for my spring break. Mix the two together and you get a nice green-brown combo for dry fields, forest floors, and swamps (put some ardcoat or something glossy on top of the base for a water effect)

I saw someone else's that were purple and light blue and thought the colors mashed pretty good so, here they are!

Nice shoretroopers! The shading on their armor looks almost realistic, what paints do you use?

Warpaints. Yeah they don't look as good as I wanted them to but their close. They are definitely my fav corps unit I've painted so far (those being only stormys)

the Army Painter Warpaint's Delivered MegaBox is more specifically what I'm using

But yeah, all their armor is is Skelton Bone with a Soft Tone that's all. No highlights.

I used Iden's E-11 arm on the other member of Inferno Squad. I think it looks better. and it fits the unit card with 2 black attack dice.
