That's exactly what I was going for, I used a sponge to make the scratches on the armor. By the way, I wanted to ask, do you know the ancestral home world of the mandalorians?

The common answer is Mandalore but Not only are the mandalorians not just human but the original mandalorians were a race caller the Taung. Their ancestral home world was a planet called Notra. They warred with a species called the Zhell. The Zhell eventually drove the Taung from their home world and the Taung would travel the galaxy for millenia until settling on a world they would name after their leader, Mandalore. Meanwhile the Zhell renamed their conquered planet: Coruscant.

Indeed, although it seems that the planets original name is no longer on wookiepedia. The website just says that they are from Coruscant. It also claims that "Taungsday" was named for the species in the current canon.

It seems that disney purged a lot of things from the Internet when they bought star wars. Yoda's species name used to be found online as well but they effectively erased it and every reference to it from the Internet.

Wow! I didn’t know that! That’s cool though! Because if you ask a fan what the Mandalorians are famous for, they’d probably say for not taking their helmets off, and being mercenaries, but if you think about it, a lot of the Mandalorian „traditions“ were made up by Disney. The whole Mandalorian TV show made them so much different than the Clone Wars and original movies!

Absolutely, it's kinda painful to say that I'm a mandalorian fan these days. It takes time to explain that I was a mandalorian fan years and years before the show. It seems most people these days are just superficial mandalorian fans. Some might call them... dar'manda.

By the way, have you gotten a chance to read the legacy of the force series? A few books were written by Karen Travis. Some of them include appearances from some RC series Mando'ade. I don't want to name who for spoilerific reasons.

ah, i haven't read the Thrawn trilogy yet. i do have a spare credit on audible right now so i may start on the series soon. i have honestly been taking a bit of a break from star wars audiobooks and have been listening to Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere books.

I read the paper books, since when I paint I listen to Legion Podcasts.

I have a few of the paper books on a display along with my ultrasaber in my room where I keep my Gaming PC and painting desk but I find it relaxing to listen to audiobooks while I paint personally.

at the moment im working on my mandalorian ugnaughts. i just finished painting the base and am taking a break before i dive into painting the ugnaughts themselves. there are 3 that go on one base.

Im redoing my Wolfpack Clones, my Null ARCs and just finished most Fond Empire stuff.
